Since its birth in the 1990s in the United States, a "gay" activist style has gradually spread to other countries, including in recent years in Western Europe. During the decades when the common trend in the LGBT movement has been to guide the legal reforms in ways conforming, queer activism has been a third wave of sexual radicalism, [an] emphasis on visibility, nature, direct action, refusal to assimilate into the dominant culture, and the fluidity and scope of sexual desire.

What are the social origins of queer?Is this a common vision - implicit or explicit - of sexual unfettering, and if so, what is it? What is its relationship with these empowerment projects such as feminism, antiracism, the world police and socialism?

I come to these issues as a socialist, which is characteristic of socialism and LGBT activism activism have been linked for 30 years. The year I came out as a gay man, 1978 was also the year I became agile on the socialist left - more precisely, the socialist-feminist left. The two things are closely linked in my mind and in my life, and still are.Thus, the questions, I'll try to queer activism are many questions from a gay man socialist and feminist.
